Banbury is a town in the county of Oxfordshire in south-central England, located in a valley on the River Cherwell 21 miles northwest of Oxford and 64 miles northwest of London

The town was first settled around 200 BC, and there was once a Roman villa on the land. The Saxons took over the area in the 5th Century, and it grew to be a prominent Saxon settlement in the 6th Century.

Today, Banbury is known for its historic buildings, churches, signature Banbury cakes, industrial plants, and as home to the world's largest coffee-processing factory.
