Ashcroft Firehall
Ashcroft is a small town in the province of British Columbia in southwestern Canada, located at the confluence of the Thompson and Bonaparte Rivers.

It was founded during the Cariboo Gold Rush in the 1860's by two English brothers. The brothers had originally emigrated from England in hopes of finding gold, but upon hearing many gold miner's tales of loss and few tales of even minor success, they decided to found a gold mining town instead.

Today, Ashcroft is known for its mountains, desert appearance, and historic buildings.
