People Born in Anaheim

Milo Ventimiglia

Anaheim in People's Lives

Jake Gyllenhaal: I traveled here in 2006 to film scenes of the movie Rendition

Milo Ventimiglia: I was born here in 1977. My father is of Sicilian descent, and my last name, which means "twenty miles," comes from the town of Ventimiglia, Italy. My mother is of English and Scottish heritage. I am the youngest of three children, and my parent's only son. I was born with dead nerves in the left side of my face, resulting in a crooked mouth and smile, leading to much comparison to Sylvester Stallone. In high school, I wrestled, acted in school drama productions, and was president of the student government. I graduated high school in 1995, and moved to Los Angeles to attend university.
